Foundations: Book I in the Understanding the Times Series
Foundations is intended to teach the basics of the Christian faith and how to walk with God individually and in community. It is the first book in the four part Understanding the Times Series, written for 9th to 12th graders. Foundations is written for a 9th grade audience but can be used in other grade levels as well.
Foundations covers topics about:
- The nature and authority of the Bible and how to read it
- The six acts and the interlude of the biblical metanarrative
- The nature of God and of humanity
- Christian living individually and corporately
The Foundations student textbook is written for a 9th grade audience, but presents valuable information for any high-school class. Chapters include clear explanations of concepts, student reading objectives and call-out definitions.
This scripture filled textbook is written to engage student's heads, hearts, and hands (thoughts, emotions, and behavior). Your students will come to understand the Christian view of the world through Scripture, see their place in that story, and engage the world with truth through relationships.
