If you have used geoboards for your math curriculum, you are
already familiar with what to do with rubber bands and peg boards. If you are
new to the idea, you are going to have so much fun with these! As you stretch
the bands across the pegs, you create geometric shapes. But wait, there’s more!
The bands glow in the dark! (I checked them in a dark room – very glowy!)
Activity cards ask you to recreate a design, so now you are practicing following
instructions. There is a lot of bang for the buck here! And, it is a quiet
activity a child can play with independently.
The kit includes 3 black plastic peg boards of different
shapes, bands in 5 neon colors, 35 design challenges, and a stand. Feel free to
freestyle too! ~Sara
