The Jolly Phonics Activity Books (one for each set of letters) are colorful and provide sound sheets that coordinate with the stories in the Finger Phonics books. Each provides a picture to color, a reminder of the action associated with the sound, lower-case letters to trace, and several words that begin with the sound. Two pages of stickers are also included, along with instructions. 36 pgs each.

Jolly Phonics for ages 3 and up uses memorable characters, engaging stories, and catchy songs paired with fun actions to introduce the 42 letter sounds. The colorful books, songs, and physical actions help children engage in all learning paths. Sounds are taught first (before letter names) and in a specific order that allows children to start reading as soon as possible. You can use this program as a precursor to the Jolly Phonics K4 or K5 program or another phonics program. Children ages 3 and up will utilize the Bumper Book, Jolly Stories Board Book Activity Books, DVD, Letter Sound Poster, and Songs Book & CD. There is no teacher’s book at this level. These multisensory materials provide a fun way to give children a jumpstart to reading!
