I got sleepy reading this book! Or maybe I should say relaxed, soothed, calmed. It just may be the perfect bedtime story and here's why. It is a larger hardcover book, and the simple illustrations are in sleepy tones of dark blues and grays. Ok, but wait! The text moves at a sleepy pace, like I was blinking between turning pages! It's brilliant! The words have a rhythm and rhyme to them that children will learn to mimic quickly after a few reads. As the pages reveal animals getting ready for sleep, you begin to yawn and drift off to dreamland. It is just the most charming and blissful thing I have seen in a while. 38 pgs, hc. ~Sara
