Description

Learn more about the human body and nutrition through fun, hands-on activities. A food game features cards with different types of food and nutrition levels, and players try to draw “nutritious” cards from the pile to add points to their personal charts. Also included is a human body structure to assemble with a tube that demonstrates the path of the digestive tract. Push colored liquid into the model to watch its movement go from the mouth, all the way down to the anus. A “Quiz game” requires 3 small anatomy puzzles to be assembled and compared to nutrition quiz sheets. A “Puzzle Game” involves choosing your personal daily diet with the food cards and adding up nutritional scores. Then build a small anatomy puzzle to reflect your personal health based off of your food choices. Also included is a “Facts Game”, recommended for a parent and child to play together. Each of the food cards have a little rhyme on the back. Go over these cards with your child and even sing and dance with the rhymes to help them remember facts about their food, and how it affects our bodies. These can even be reviewed by asking your child questions from the facts and having them write the answer on a dry-erase or chalk board.

Includes 44 food cards, two dry erase markers, 3 badges, and all of the other necessary pieces to do these exciting activities. Included is a link to instructional YouTube videos for the featured projects. Includes 100 pieces total.
