Description

C’mon down to the Furroughfield farming community and try your hand at planting and reaping the best harvest this season to win the game!

In Harvest: A Fantastically Fun, Fur-Filled Farming Affair, each player has their own farm board and plays as a character with special abilities. During the game, they will clear their land to plant crops, tend to them, and finally, harvest them to earn victory points. The main town board contains action options where players visit different areas to gain the resources to grow and sustain their farm. Also available are different buildings that can be purchased and built on player’s farm boards, which provide players with actions, resources, coins, or end-game points.

There are four rounds consisting of three phases each. In the Sunrise Phase, players choose new tile abilities and turn order is determined for the round. Phase two is the Action Phase where resources are gathered, fields are planted, tended, and harvested, land is cleared, buildings are placed, and upgrades are done. In the Sunset Phase, players retrieve their workers and the main board is prepared for the next round. At the end of four rounds, the game ends, players total their points, and the player with the most points wins the game!

If you like medium-weight worker-placement, resource collection/management games with beautiful components and theme and some tile and card abilities, Harvest might be a good choice for you. This game plays with a 1-4 players in 50-70 minutes.
