Work with children as they learn vowel blends and more! This
is part of a set of 6 phonics workbooks, each focused on one phase of language
acquisition per the Science of Reading.
This workbook includes a 6-week schedule to follow with
activities designed to make learning fun and engaging using both color photos
and cute illustrations. A progress map (tear-out) with stickers adds incentive
as students can see their progress. Add a set of 12 decodable Fiction Readers and/or Non-Fiction Readers to
round out your lessons.
Phase 5 introduces children ages 5-7 years old to the
next 20 letter patterns with opportunities to learn more graphemes (single
letters that represent sounds). They will begin reading 2- and 3-syllable
words. Students are expected to have some basic handwriting skills.
