The Student Journal will become the student’s record of learning for the course. Bright colors, fun illustrations, and photographs are visually engaging. The journals align with the lessons in the Instructor Guide. I love how each week begins with the student writing (or drawing) three things they are grateful for, which is a powerful activity for all of us to practice. The rest of the week relates to the lesson being taught and includes Scripture references, reflective questions with space to respond, and ways to practice the thematic generosity trait. The Student Journal also includes a generosity map in the back with cute stickers to mark when each newly learned generosity trait lesson is completed. Families will appreciate the larger lines for writing and blank space for drawing, which perfectly meets the needs of different learning needs and ages. Parents may also choose to have younger children answer some questions orally. The Generous Students Homeschool Kit includes three student journals; additional copies are available for your convenience.
