As young
students’ math skills are developing, fact fluency is a skill all its own. The
workbook helps learners gain quick recall of single- and double-digit addition
facts. A time and score log is provided on the opening pages to document your
student’s progress in one location. Puzzle Time pages break up the fact sheets
throughout and provide fun breaks in math facts work. Single-digit equations
are presented in horizontal form while double-digit equations are in vertical
format. References to the IXL platform are made often but this resource is not
necessary to accomplish the workbook. 64 pgs, pb. ~Rebecca

Students
receive intentional, topical, and grade appropriate math skill practice in each
workbook. Differing examples and practice than what are presented in the
Ultimate Workbooks—the topical workbooks highlight a very specific math skill.
The topical practice is designed to target a weak skill through additional
guided practice. Since practice differs from the Ultimate books, you can bring
these Topical Workbooks alongside also for intentional work in problem areas. Single-digit
equations are presented in horizontal format; pages are colorful and provide
plenty of room for students to work. These workbooks are NOT reproducible but
are economical. Answers are in the back of each workbook. Skills align with the
IXL digital platform for additional practice, activities, and exposure but are
not necessary for completion of workbooks.
