Description

Start with “To” and “Ast” to make Toast.  Next turn; add an “Er” and you have made Toaster!  Do you like word games like Scrabble or Boggle? If so, this may be your next addictive word game. So, what is it all about?

Overview: Using a stack of 120 cards in three colors (blue, pink and yellow) and reward tokens, players take turns creating words from either the cards they have in their hand or the common pool, they can make one word per turn.  If one of the words that they create meets one of the reward token criteria, they also collect that token.  Next, they replenish their hand and any used cards or tokens from the card deck.  If there is not a word they can make, players pass their turn and replace any number of their cards with cards from the deck.

The game ends when all cards in the deck are drawn. Players get one more turn after which they total their word cards and token points. Scoring is as follows:  All reward tokens are 4 points, yellow cards are three points, pink cards are two points and blue cards are one point.  The player with the highest score wins the game!

This is a fun way to improve word creation and letter manipulation skills. For 2-8 players with a 20 to 30-minute game time.
