Description

How do you choose the best campsite among six different terrains? Do you pitch your tent near water, in the desert, or in the forest? Have you ever wanted to sleep on top of a mountain? Would you like to pitch your tent in the meadow?

In this quick summer themed, tile laying game for 2-6 players, each player has seven different tent tiles with six matching each of the terrains as well as the seventh tent tile that represents all of the terrain types. Terrain cards depicting two of the different terrains with various numbers of empty camping spaces form the campsite map, with two of these cards on the table to start the campground.

On their turn, players add a terrain card to the campsite map. Next, they pitch one tent on an empty space on the campground and draw a new terrain card for their next turn. The goal is to match each tent tile to as many of the same terrains in its surrounding map squares as possible. Players earn one point for each matching terrain per tent. The all-terrain tent tile’s goal is to have as many different terrains adjacent to it as possible, with one point awarded for each different terrain.

Once all players have pitched all of their tents, the round ends and each player’s tent receives a score. Clear the card map and start a new map for the next round. After three rounds, the game ends and the person with the most points wins the game! With its summertime theme and small box, this game is portable and fun to bring along on vacation. For ages 8+ with a 30 to 40-minute play time.
