Description

When a robot named iLuv is colorless in an island full of colorful robots, some helpful citizens decide to help her find some colors. As they come across each color, it is evident that each color represents a different emotion. Anger, sadness, fear, surprise, disgust, and joy are each represented by a color of the rainbow. The project creates an emotion robot, similar to the one in the book. Once assembled, it can be used to play two different games which involve interpreting and sorting emotions. In addition to playing the game, the robot can also be used in households for young ones to describe to parents how they are feeling. Some things are just hard to describe in words, so the gears that represent each of the 6 covered emotions can be focused on to pinpoint just one emotion, and how much of that emotion is being felt. A good icebreaker and visual representation for explaining a concept to children that can’t always be seen. Includes the materials needed for the project. The book is 20 pages, pb.
