Description

This 2-player game has a lot of fun and academic value! The game itself is somewhat of a timer. Choose a category, let's say U.S. Cities, and take turns saying the cities. As you say yours, hit your button and the lights move away from you. Your opponent then does the same, and the lights move towards you. Oh no! The one to move your lights all the way across wins. Includes 4 topic cards with loads of ideas and an instruction card. If your opponent gives a bad answer, challenge them! You could use this “game" and make up your own topics to help you study: prepositions, countries of Africa, biology terms, horse breeds, French names for animals, etc.

Publisher's Description of GibGab Game

Can you gib faster than they can gab?

Pick a category from one of the cards and then press the center button to switch it on. The lights on the game board light up, half yours, half theirs.

Quick! Say a word that matches the category and then press your button. When you do, your lights begin to move toward your opponent. Now they've got to think fast, say a word, and press their button to get their lights moving back toward you! You can set the lights to move either 2 seconds per light, 1 and 1/2 seconds per light, or if you're really feeling ambitious, just one second per light.

Do you have the knowledge and memory skills to keep your opponent's lights from ever reaching your end of the game board?
