Each puzzle contains twenty 1 ¼� x 1 ¼� squares that fit together in a large cross-shaped cutout within a 10 ¾� x 10 ¾� square wooden tray. The squares contain a solid background with illustrations of small, patterned, similar objects (such as butterflies, flowers or frogs) that make matching the squares challenging.
