Description

Along the Nile River, there is a huge market where you can purchase goods such as wheat, marble, and ivory.  There are also characters that can help you with their special abilities.  In this two-person tile and set collection game, the player that can obtain and play sets of market tiles with the best overall scores and avoid too many lost points with corruption will win the game.

On your turn, take one of three actions, which are: 1.) take a market tile, 2.) sell and play a set of tiles to your player area or 3.) Play a character card.  There are six different types of goods and a seventh wild tile that players can add to any set.  A set of tiles is three or more of one type of goods.  Some tiles have a “Deben Token” in the right-hand corner, which allows the player to take a coin from the draw bag, which have game-end point values.  Other tiles have scarab symbols at the bottom, which add points at the end of the game as well.  The game ends immediately when either player has no possible actions they can take and the person with the most points wins!  This is a 30-minute game with an easy-to-follow manual that offers a simple set up and rule set.
