Each planner is designed as a theme and begins with a "year at a glance" of each month (beginning in July) with each day of week color coded. There are seven lined subject boxes for each day measuring almost 2x 2 inches (allowing for plenty of space for instruction or notes). There is also room to record grades, attendance, and contact information. Colorful sticker tabs are included in the back for even clearer organization.
