Great!
I have really enjoyed using these with my son. We use the Singapore method and these have come in real handy when teaching lessons. If your kids are more visual these are great!!

very helpful!
I have found this basic set to be all I need for my kiddos. The amount of blocks is plenty. This manipulative was SO useful and needed in helping my 7 y.o. understand regrouping with math problems. Makes math very hands-on and understandable.

Are the pieces in this set interlocking?
User on Aug 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, they are not. The yellow are single units - ones. The green are tens. The blue are hundreds and the red block is 1,000. My husband didn't like that there were only 10 green blocks, but I thought it was perfect to show that if you use up all ten, you have to move onto the hundreds place value. These are small in the hand, not interlocking, but we used them with our singapore math curriculum for Grade 2 and expect to use them again in Grade 3. We also have snap cubes, which are interlocking, and use them more, I'd say.
