Description

You can add much more players and expand your Nertz games with this 12-deck set. Very similar to the popular game Dutch Blitz, Nertz is an enjoyable fast-paced card game where you will be racing other players to get rid of your Nertz pile and score the most points. For the setup of this game each player will have a work pile that consists of four cards face up. Each player will also have a Nertz pile, which is a stack of 13 cards with the top card face up. Cards from the Nertz pile can either be played on the work pile or in the common area on foundations. Playing cards on the work pile is more similar to solitaire (red sevens on black eights or black fours on red fives) and cards played in the common area build on different suits (ace of diamonds, two of diamonds, and so on). The remaining cards that are not in your Nertz pile or work pile can be flipped over three at a time and can be played on either pile to help you gain points or create opportunities to play cards from your Nertz pile. Once a player gets rid of all of the cards in their Nertz pile the game ends and scores are added up. Every card played in the common area is worth 1 point and every card left in a player’s Nertz pile counts as -2 points against them. In general, this can be a very fun game where you will have to think and react very quickly. This set includes 12 card decks of different colors as well as a pamphlet with instructions on how to play. For 2-12 players.
