Some kids
just get a case of the wiggles when asked to sit and listen. The knees start to
bounce. The fingers start to tap. This cushion lets them wiggle without
bothering anyone! Add a sensory texture they can fidget with and this cushion
becomes a focus tool. It helps kids relax. Actually, this one is big enough for
an adult to use. This is 13” round and Includes a pump. The carrying handle is
within the circle. ~Sara
Publisher's Description of Portable Wiggle Seat Sensory Cushion with Easy-Grip Handle - Blue
Kids can stay relaxed and productive in all of their classes as the Portable Wiggle Seat Sensory Cushion gives them an outlet for excess energy. Great at school, at homework time, and during meals.
FOCUS: Enables students to increase time on task by quietly moving while working
SENSORY: Flexible nubs on one side act as a calming influence and smaller bumps on the other give a choice for just the right amount of tactile stimulation to reduce stress
ERGONOMIC DESIGN: Disc causes the body to stabilize itself, improving posture and core strength
PORTABLE: The built in carry handle allows kids to take the wiggle seat anywhere indoors or outdoors, on chairs, benches, or directly on the floor or ground
CUSTOMIZABLE: Firmness can be altered exactly to each child's needs
Turn any chair into a sensory chair with a simple inflatable, textured cushion. Each side has a different texture: one is a small dot pattern while the other has little rounded spikes. Whether a child is rocking in their seat or simply enjoying the tactile stimulation, their body is expelling excess energy so they can focus, listen, and learn. Heavy duty, round cushions are made from thick silicone-type material. They arrive partially inflated and include a pump to adjust the firmness. Choose either dark gray or a deep blue (almost navy blue) and select one of two sizes. Little cushions for children ages 3-7 years are 10.75" across (27cm). Large cushions are for kids ages 6-18 and measure 13" across (33cm). Both are approximately 2-3" thick. Perfect for a classroom, at the dinner table, reading time or when doing homework. ~Sara
