My son has showed an interest in rocks. This bundled had all 3 forms of rocks at a cheaper price than the classroom kit. I like that it has the numbers on the rocks and a study guide along with the magnifying glass.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, in the Igneous kit there are: White granite, pink granite, diorite, gabbro, peridotite, rhyolite, obsidian, snowflake obsidian, andesite, tracheae, basalt, vesicular basalt, pumice, amygdaloidal basalt, and scoria. The Metamorphic contains: Gneiss, white marble, biotite schist, phyllite, quartzite, fuchsia quartzite, hornblende, hornfels, green slate, green serpentinite, yellow serpentinite, auger migmatite, dolomite marble, serpentine marble, and red marble. The Sedimentary has: Oil shale, shell limestone, dolomite, limestone, crinoidal limestone, siliceous rock, arenite travertine, quartz sandstone, anhydrite, siltstone, conglomerate, cress, tuffaceous shale, chert. Sorry if there are misspellings!
