I was surprised how much my girls like these vocabulary books. I picked them out to aid with standardized test prep, but didn't expect them to like them, so I was pleasantly surprised that they do.

We have used this program before and I find it great. My son has improved his reading comprehension with these books. One of the exercises is a story with all the vocabulary words in it and that has helped a lot.

We have used Wordly Wise 3000 for years. My children really like it.

I wanted a vocabulary program that did not require the student to look up the dictionary and copy the definition. Our last book did that, and it made vocabulary a battle every Monday over the new word list.

Does the Wordly wise 4th edition student contains the 1 year access code to Wordly Wise online?
User on May 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I just looked inside my daughter's Wordly Wise 3000 Book 8 4th edition and there is in fact a code that is good for 12 months. Be aware, the code expires 24 months after the "Printed in..." date in the copy right information. We are going to try it out in the morning! Thanks for asking.
How does the 4th edition of Worldly Wise 3000 differ from the 3rd edition?
User on Aug 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Last year I purchased a 4th edition book 7 and a third edition book 9. The difference between these two books was two fold. First, the 4th edition had larger print which made the page seem more accessible. Second, the 4th edition contained several activities in each lesson for the student to do with another person. We skipped those, since only one of my children was in that level. But skipping those activities did not diminish the effectiveness of the other activities. My daughter loved the book and has requested the next level for this year.
