Excellent for my 6th and 8th graders
Both of my girls are using this workbook. They go to MCPS and it has been a great help for common core math.

There are many math programs that are highly rated along with conclusive. However, for my son I needed something that seemed to go into depth when explaining a topic, this fit the bill.

Is there a Pre-Algebra book in this series?
Lisa on Mar 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, there is an Understanding Pre-Algebra. We have it on our radar and will be additing in either this week or next. It should be up on the website soon.
I am looking at an Algebra 1 course for my soon to be freshman daughter. She does not like math! I was considering Understanding Algebra 1 and Fresh Approach Algebra. Would either of these be fairly easy to understand? I struggle to teach some of the algebraic concepts. thanks

BEST ANSWER: Understanding Algebra1 seems like a straightforward book that the student writes in (worktext). My 12 year-old daughter had no trouble understanding the ideas presented.
