impressive!
This arrived sooner than I expected and looked so nice. I'm glad I paid the extra few bucks for the full color version, it came out very professional and my son actually enjoyed working in the book. Would definitely buy again.

Straightforward, logical, simple.
I really like this series, I will use it again. It is just the right amount of repetition. I like how it is laid out and emphasis on logic and reasoning.

Great!
My daughter needed a review . . . . and some sort of support for Math as it is not her best subject. She has been doing great in this book. The lessons are well laid out and have great instruction.

The RR catalog description of 'Creativity Express' was extremely thorough so I hesitate to add to it I think my review may be helpful for a different aspect of purchasing so I continue I purchased this art instruction CD-ROM because of homeschool mom guilt Am I giving the kids all the classes they would enjoy in a 'regular school?' Are they 'missing out' because they aren't getting art instruction by a professional artist? This was compounded by the fact that my six year old son seems to get a great deal of enjoyment from drawing- technical drawings of planes etc but also figures My basic drawing skills were about exhausted on him already and we can't afford art lessons So I turned to RR to see what they had I figured $25 was a decent price and I hoped that I wouldn't be annoyed by a penguin and a polar bear discussing art I was greatly pleased My kids aren't allowed to watch tv when they wake up so now when I come out for my coffee they are on the computer learning about art When I am in the kitchen preparing dinner I am learning from just overhearing their lessons The characters are not annoying or repetitive the 'classes' are easily selected and navigated and the skills are easily practiced on paper They learn alot of art history and interesting facts and usable skills for their own art projects The lessons have come up in the car and at bedtime so I can tell that they are interesting and informative enough to stick in their little brains past the time on the computer The 6 and 8 year olds are 'doing' the lessons and the 3 year old is sitting beside them laughing and learning as well My homeschool mom guilt has evaporated-- my son taught me about hot and cool colors! He's not missing out on anything! I think this CD-ROM is great for a number of uses-- you could monitor your child and ensure that they do each lesson such as one a week and you'd get about a year of lessons You could just let them do art lessons on the 'give-it-up days' that we all have You could let them use it instead of playing mindless games on the computer It could be a summer class to keep them thinking I am really glad that I purchased this product and my kids say that it is "really cool and fun and funny"

What a fantastic product! I didn't think I could get my non-artistic son interested in any kind of art instruction but this has changed everything for him He has gone from grumbling and complaining about art lessons to begging to be able to use this CD ROM He regularly wants to try the actual hands-on projects after the lessons and our whole family has benefited from the art history facts that he now throws out from time to time All I had to do to get him started was load the cd and show him how to use itwhich has been important since I'm also homeschooling a middle schooler (who also likes to go through the lessons with her brother) and caring for a newborn For roughly $30 this was a great purchase for our family and our homeschool!

I have been extremely impressed with Math Mammoth. It has, as does everything, some things that I would change but all in all it is so very well ordered and thought out and simple. Also it is inexpensive and I do very much appreciate that.

Seemed to offer math strategies for a highly intelligent child with dyslexia for whom math facts may be difficult to memorize even though he is already grasping higher math concepts. Also, dyslexic individuals are highly visual and grayscale math books have not been stimulating enough.

This is our second year using Math Mammoth and our fourth year homeschooling. We love how Math Mammoth teaches mastery before moving on to the next concept.

After review it seems the best for my students.

We used the blue series last year to pick and choose which topics to cover. I decided to use the light blue series this year so we can follow the progression laid out for us. I like the way Math Mammoth combines instruction and practice in one worktext, and the mastery approach works well with the right amount of review for us.

My child has been using Right Start Math, but is ready to begin working independently from me, and this is my favorite curriculum for that purpose! The joint emphasis on critical thinking, on understanding the mathematical concepts, and on mental arithmetic make this a winner for me! This will be my second child in this curriculum, and I'm so pleased with it, I don't even look for alternatives from year to year.

My children definitely prefer the colored text over the black and white workbook.

It got a great review on Cathy Duffy's 102 Homeschool Picks, and it meets my criteria of minimal teacher prep time, teaches concepts as well as drill, and goes beyond common core. I also like that supplemental worksheets are available on the Math Mammoth website, and to top it off, it's a good deal!

Our daughter has extremely strong reasoning and number sense skills, which I believe is due in part to using the Mammoth Math materials. I am looking forward to teaching her this year, using this workbook. Previously I have bought the downloadable version and have had the worktexts printed and bound at our local copy centre. It works out to be the same price to buy these worktexts already printed andin COLOUR! Our daughter is excited about having them in colour in this year.

The descriptions are clear and right in the book so you just need to buy the workbook no teacher's book. There is lots of review of previous chapters as you complete each one so you keep building and maintaining your skills. It's the most cost effective complete math curriculum that I've found that works.

This math curriculum has worked well for our family. It is a great balance of mastery and review. I like the length of the lessons as well. Very doable for younger students to sit and complete in a timely manner.

Recently finished Math Mammoth Grade 2. Curriculum is straightforward, doesnâ??t talk down to children, and can be worked independently once concepts are reviewed with teacher/parent. It works best for my children.

I love Math Mammoth. My son has dyscalculia, and we struggled to find just the right curriculum for him, but this is it!! A couple weeks ago he said, "Mom, remember when math was so hard for me?" This curriculum has allowed him to achieve success and gain real confidence!

When you buy a Math mammoth worktext on its own (not as part of a package), is there an answer key in the back?
A shopper on Jun 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, there is not. The answer key is a separate publication and covers both the A & B books of each level.
