The Story of the World set is fun and effective. It meets the needs of our students no matter their age. My advanced reader can read the chapters quickly and work through the activities and tests independently. My more average reader can listen along with the CD and the book at the same time so she gets a history lesson and reading/vocabulary improvement at the same time. And finally our kinder can listen along and color with the activity book and do a little copy work.

Are these pages any heavier weight than normal 20 lb printer paper? I like to print notebooking pages on 24 lb paper for added durability.
User on Feb 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I'm not super familiar with 24lb paper, but the pages are what I would consider "normal printer paper". it's a lot of pages, so anything heavier and you likely aren't going to be able to fit it all in a standard three ring binder. I have boys, and we've never had any problems with paper tearing or crumpling.
Am I allowed to make copies of this for my own children?

BEST ANSWER: This is verbatum from the student pages:
For families: You may make as many photocopies of the maps and other Student Pages as you need for use WITHIN YOUR OWN FAMILY ONLY.

Schools and co-ops MAY NOT PHOTOCOPY...
