Textbook was chosen by a teacher at my homeschool program. Needed the answer key to correct work.

A fine introductory geometry text that works both for home schooling and regular classes. Could be more concise, but the teacher can adapt the material.

This was a great book for my daughter to learn from. It took a bit of time at first for her to get used to the style. The book takes straight-forward concepts and delivers them in an abstract way so she couldn't always grasp where the text was trying to take her. But once she got used to it, she took off. Since we started homeschooling several years ago, this was the first time she didn't need my help throughout the course. She did most of it on her own.

What is the difference between this book and my father's world book?

BEST ANSWER: These two books do not provide the same information.

The Master Book edition (#038671) includes a daily schedule, chapter, mid-term, and final tests, and complete answer keys.

The My Father's World edition (#023426) provides only the answers to all textbook exercises. Tests and Test answers are in a separate publication - #023427 - https://www.rainbowresource.com/product/sku/023427
I have the text book published by Freeman can I use it with this or do I have to get the one published by My Father's world?
A shopper on Jun 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I haven’t seen both personally but as long as it’s the 3rd Edition I think you’ll be fine with either text book.
Do I need the Jacob's geo for teachers if I am buying Dr Callahan's DVDs?

Ask Dr. Callahan Geometry DVD Set w/ Printed Teacher Guide, Tests, Syllabus
Ask Dr. Callahan Geometry DVD Set w/ Printed Teacher Guide, Tests, Syllabus
BEST ANSWER: Yes you will need the teacher's book. It is basically the answer/solutions to all the problems in the book. Dr. Callahan's DVD demonstrates some of the main concepts in each lesson and provides guidance as to what problems to assign and how to grade the tests. You don't want to assign every problem, it's too much to do all at once. My son actually taught himself to Chapter 11 by just reading and taking notes. Chapter 11 was the first chapter that overwhelmed him, so I bought Callahan's DVDs to aid in teaching the geometry concepts.
