Incredible curriculum. If I had only one high school course to choose, this would be it. It teaches you HOW to think and how to identify faulty thinking that can be so subliminal in this culture

This is an excellent curriculum for understanding Christian worldviews and the other worldviews that our culture shouts out loud. Using the Bible, books, and videos, this is a really useful training ground for recognizing other worldviews and solidifying a Biblical foundation.
Georgia S on Aug 12, 2016
It was recommended by my homeschool enrichment program and is an excellent introduction to understanding worldview. It was a huge help to my son in being able to think more critically about the movies he watches and the books he reads!

I used this curriculum several years ago for my oldest daughter. It is so foundationally instructive regarding world view and critical thinking that I don't want my next daughter to leave home without having taken the course. I love that it doesn't just tell me what my world view is, but allows me to discover thru God's word and discussion what is truth and solid thinking. It was well worth the time spent to discuss these concepts with my girls as THIS is why I homeschool.

Does this curriculum provide adequate writing instruction or do I need to add seperate composition?
A shopper on Sep 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: There is a moderate amount of -at least a dozen- writing assignments included in the Starting Points Primer. There is also an excellent IEW writing course (Starting Points Worldview Based Writing Lessons) designed to supplement the Starting Points Primer, which uses the IEW structure and style concepts and follows the Starting Points Primer schedule. This is great for students who want to dig a little deeper into the subject. I have used both courses with two of my students. Both of them benefited greatly from this Starting Points course, and the IEW course was easy to adapt or omit as needed.

what format does this product come in? Binder, 3 hole punched pages to place in your own binder, some other format, spiral bound, ??? TIA
A shopper on Jul 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It comes bound like a book, but it's very easy to bring it to your local UPS or FedEx store and have them put a spiral binding on it or to three hole punch it to place in a binder yourself.
Is there a separate student and teacher book?
User on Apr 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: To my knowledge, there is only the student book. No teacher book is available. There are other books required for the curriculum. I think there are about 10 of them plus some of the Narnia books.
