Do It with Dominoes
Pre Math-It is a wonderful way for young children to begin to identify numbers as they look at the dominoes and place them on the board. Beginning with doubles, they learn the 9+ facts, the 8+ facts, and the "neighbor" facts almost effortlessly with good quality dominoes. The booklet and game board are easy to use. I searched at length to replace the one I used with my children so I could use it with my grandchildren. Grateful to have found it!

My boys do not bulk at learning math if it is presented to them in a game format! Dr. Raymond Moore recommended homeschool families to use the "math-it" brand games to teach students their math facts.

What grades/ages is this good for?

BEST ANSWER: Since this covers number recognition, counting, and very basic addition, it is considered a pre-K program. In other words, ages 3-5.

A shopper on Oct 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I used it for Kindergarten and it gave a great and companionable foundation for the first grade math we are doing this year using the Right Start Math curriculum. They learn their addition facts perfectly while seeing the quantity of the numbers without any written symbols. So imprtant for the younger ages who are still concrete thinkers to not focus on the abstract.
