Saxon Math 3 Meeting book.
We like the meeting book because we haven't done much with the calendar and dates. Also the skip counting is nice to review every day.

Early Saxon curricula is a superior spiral math product before Houghton-Mifflin got their filthy mits on the higher levels of Saxon Math and changed it to common core, which was the kind of math taught to the serfs of the middle ages to keep them under-educated and poor. History does like to repeat itself.

Saxon Math teaches children according to their developmental level. I only needed the Workbook and Meeting Books because I bought the texts in previous years.
Theresa H on Apr 17, 2016
I find Saxon to be a logical approach to early math. The manipulatives and meeting book make it fun for little ones. Having taught Saxon 3 twice already to two of my four children, I know what to expect and am looking forward to the process with my youngest.
Robin W on Mar 11, 2016
We have used this for our older child and it proved to be a great choice for a math curriculum.

Leo E on Feb 2, 2016
Saxon Math 3 worked so well for our older children that now that it's time for our little caboose to do 3rd grade math, we just need to purchase new consumables. We love Saxon Math!
Penelope B on Jan 15, 2016
We liked Saxon 2 and have continued with this program. A solid foundation in multiplication and division as well as many other facets of early arithmetic. Thorough and easy to use, if slightly dated text.
Stephanie L on Dec 9, 2015
It's time for my younger child to move up to Math 3 and we need to replenish the consumables from when his sister did this level a few years ago.

WHAT IS A MEETING BOOK? Is it a TEXTBOOK?
Karie W on Sep 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: In Saxon Math K through 3, the set includes a meeting book, two workbooks (part 1 and part 2), and the teacher's manual. The meeting book is only about 24 pages. The child uses it every day at the beginning of the lesson, to practice calendar concepts, recording temperatures, graphing, and counting (by 2's, 5's, etc.). You could possibly teach Saxon Math 3 without the meeting book (by using a calendar), but my children feel ownership and pride in their meeting book, and it gets the lesson rolling. The teacher's manual is over 800 pages and contains everything you need to teach. The workbooks reinforce the concepts taught.
