my son loved listening to the audio in the car, in his room, and just all the time. It made it fun instead of school.

We have appreciated v.1 of the Mystery of HIstory Series and find the CDs helpful (saves my voice and is convenient for us.)

I am hoping this will make History a little less labor intensive. We can listen in the car or while I'm folding laundry. My 5th grade son and I both learn well by hearing.
Carol F on Jan 26, 2017
LOVE vol 1. I have it playing in the van as we drive around. The kids love it and they are learning without realising.
Shannyn on Jan 9, 2017
My children enjoy audio books.

We already did volume 1 and want to continue. I love having it on cd so we can listen in the car. Then we do the activities in the house, 3 lessons at a time, and make the memory cards.
Amy H on Nov 16, 2016
We are using it in conjunction with SOTW and other resources for a more comprehensive history experience while still getting a Christian perspective.
Tawny M on Nov 5, 2016

Well worth the money spent in order for all of my children to be able to listen to the lesson without me having to read aloud.

Last year we did volume 1. Can we skip to volume 3?
A shopper on May 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You could skip a volume because each volume stands on its own (questions aren’t asked from previous volumes and material taught in previous volumes aren’t often referred to). Especially if you’ve already studied the time period (Resurrection of Christ through around 1400) you should be fine. But if you haven’t already studied that period you’ll miss a large portion of history. Also, the author may explain this well enough in volume 3, but you may miss the catalyst and importance of the Renaissance and Reformation and exploration (v3) if you haven’t studied the Middle Ages and events like the Black Plague, the fall of the Byzantine Empire, and even the feudal system. But, again, it’s totally feasible.
