Great product!
This is a very nicely made, durable product. All the figures are soft and and good size- 3-4". There is an activity book that is helpful, which includes games and instructions. It is substantial at 42 pages. Overall a nice visual and tactile piece to enhance learning. Worth the expense!

We have used Explode the Code for years with great success. My third child needs more practice with letter sounds and I thought this tactile tool would help. I like how the items correspond to the A, B, and C books she is using.

I use the Explode the Code books with my son. I have a home daycare and will use it to teach phonics lessons. I am a firm believer in phonics because that's how I learned to read.

What is H?
A shopper on Apr 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It's a hat! A very poor one, I had to check the cards that I also ordered to figure it out!
What is the V, Y and X?
A shopper on Feb 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: V is vase, Y is yarn, and X is fox (they do the last letter in the word for 'X' instead of the first like the rest of the alphabet).
What is the B?
A shopper on Jan 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: A bell
