My daughter really enjoys the stories and looks forward to the next section. She is much more enthusiastic about math than before, and likes the puzzles.

Beast Academy is an amazing math curriculum that really teaches how math concepts work.

We tried out Beast Academy this year. I love it and so does one of my sons. (: My other son wouldn't love any math curriculum but he is asking to continue with this one if he HAS to do math. Beast Academy is strong in logic and problem solving skills. Don't be fooled by the comic book appearance, it is a rigorous math curriculum. But don't be intimidated by its outside-the-box thinking either, the back of the practice book is full of hints and thorough explanations for each question.

My son and daughter love this curriculum and requested all the books after we did a trial run on 3A. It's a different approach but they love it.

"Great way for kids to learn math. The AOPS system for math is very very interesting and challenging. This comes highly recommended by other parents"

This curriculum has been such a blessing in our home. My daughter struggled with Math until we tried Beast. We now have great conversations about mathematics! It is very challenging, but doesn't create the anxiety that traditional math programs did.

Have been using Beast Academy. My son loves it. I love it because it is challenging, but well organized and explained

"I was worried about teaching math to my son, since I never did well in that subject myself growing up. Beast Academy is not only easy for me to understand, it's funny! He ASKS to do more math because he enjoys the format and characters so much. Most importantly, Beast Academy doesn't loop - there's no constant review that bogs him down. He can master the concept through the various ways the practice book presents, then move on. It keeps him excited about math! "

We've used the previous two books to this and my son (who struggles with and does not like math) enjoys this program. The comic book style guide appeals to him, as does the story-problem style approach. It's different than any other math program we've tried; really works on understanding rather than just memorizing. IT can be a bit hard to follow parent/teacher wise, but you get the hang of it. It's been a good fit for us.
