Lessons are well marked out They are a nice size for one day and a good variety Some of the instructions are not the clearest but maybe that is just us since it is our first year with them! Although I'm not fond of the way they have laid out the enrichment exercises they are not difficult or long to do and they add variety I can't imagine any child not enjoying them

We have used Learning Language Arts Through Literature off and on for the past 5 years My kids love it because there is only "one" English book instead of one for literature and one for grammar like so many other curriculum have I love it because it's easy to teach from and requires little to no preparation time

The LLATL series does a good job covering a broad range of topics: spelling, vocab, reading, comprehension; however, it does not cover any subject thoroughly. I use LLATL as a base and supplement with other grammar, spelling, vocab, literature and writing.

We have been using this program since 3rd grade year. I love the book studies and it is a wonderful structured approach to grammar for my guy who struggles in English. He actually loves doing English now.

We have used LLATL for years and find it easy to use, solid, and reliable. It has introduced us to so many good books that we might not have read otherwise.

Nicole P on Jul 9, 2016
We have been using LLATL for four years and love it. The whole week is laid out in one lesson, and there are several classic literature books to read throughout the year. Classic literature is used each week to teach the different grammar, punctuation, and usage rules, as well as reading comprehension, writing skills, and poetry.
