I think we went through 5 math programs before we found Developmental Math I actually knew about this program early on but I thought we needed all the "bells and whistles" My daughter struggled with all the other programs we chose Whether it was too many problems or moved too quickly or too repetitive or just too complicated This is a self pacing program which we find a perfect fit I tell my daughter she needs to do at least 2 pages a day but she is always moving on and doing 4-5 pages per day Each book is about 80 pages which is great because her sense of accomplishment is met regularly I love this program because there is virtually no teacher prep and you can't beat the price This is really a self teaching program and works well with your self motivated child We love it
