I recently purchased the Horizons Grade 2 math curriculum, but I didn't realize I would need manipulatives too. Wish I had ordered them at the same time!

The course uses the manipulative kit in the lesson plans and it's important to have it. It makes teaching much easier.

The picture shows a thermometer, blocks, telling time, and a multiplication chart that aren't listed in the description. Are they included, or needed, for grade 2?
A shopper on Feb 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They are included. We are 1/2 way through grade 2 and so far I've been a little disappointed with the manipulative kit. We've used the clock and the fraction pieces but the flashcards aren't that great. Also, counters aren't included. We ended up using Legos to show ones, tens, and hundreds.
