This manual not only allows these brilliantly written books to come alive for your child, but the lessons also provide an opportunity to enhance your relationship with your child. Since I've started using FIAR, I vocally recommend it to all that will listen!

You can tell that Jane Claire Lambert took the time to pick worthwhile, living books. I love all how easy she makes it to teach all the subjects. You can pick and choose which to work with and add and expand so easily. You get so much in a small spiral book for such a low cost.

Our family is using the Five in a Row curriculum, and will be starting in Volume 3 in the fall. We are currently without this volume, and thus, I ordered it.

I used Five In A Row books while homeschooling my children and this volume was missing from my collection.

I've read many, many reviews for homeschool curriculum, prayed for many months now and asked many moms about their homeschooling methods - and this seems to be a simple, effective, all-subject-inclusive way to teach my children - but most importantly, fun! I want them to Love learning! I can't wait to receive my book and start the learning journey with my 5 and 2 year olds.

i really like this program, it's impressively edifying for both children and parents, it's simple, flexible, can be used with several ages at once. it's great for both group and one on one settings.

We have been using FIAR for over a year now and we love the curriculum. It is a gentle way of teaching, it keeps our boys' interest, sends us "around the world" with stories and allows for cuddling together while reading the story each week.

Why is this volume $75 when volumes 1-3 are $35 each?

Five in a Row Vol. 3
Five in a Row Vol. 3
Five in a Row Vol. 4
Five in a Row Vol. 4
BEST ANSWER: Volume 4 contains 15 lengthier unit studies that can be stretched to two weeks per book. Christian content is incorporated into Vol. 4 through related 'Christian Character and Bible Study Lessons.' FIAR Cookbook lessons are also provided for each unit, as are the laminatd story disks. So while this volume seems pricey compared to the rest, it's also more than twice the size of the other volumes and includes more additional content that you don't get packaged with Vol. 1-3.
Which FIAR would be a good place for a second and fourth grader to start?
A shopper on Jul 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We love all the volumes. You can't go wrong.
My son will be in 3rd grade what volume do I start with?
A shopper on Jun 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: They are not sequential or by level, so you can start with whichever one you'd like. The beauty of Five in a Row is that you can cater it to whatever level your child is at. We've done all 4 volumes. Vols 1-3 are pretty similar in level and vol 4 has a few books that are more advanced. Volume 4 also has a lot of out-of-print books, so you can't do quite a few of the books unless your library has them. We loved this program and found it easy to cater to our own interests, especially when the manual was paired with Pinterest ideas.
Which edition is this?
A shopper on Jan 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: There is only one edition of the Five in a Row programs. Several years ago most of the courses were given new, updated covers but the contents were not altered.
