We are nearly done with Book 12. This is such a great math program. We'll use it through to the end!

Have used it with my older kids. It stays focused on just a few concepts at a time. This has reduced a lot of confusion. We are not math people!

I've used this before for my struggling learner. There are not babyish pictures, and the grade level is not marked. It also works well for self teachers, and people who get confused by a lot of talking. They keep it plain and simple. Look at the example and imitate.

Next book in the series we are using.

I have been using these books for years with 2 of my children who math does not come easy. It is not a quick fix but they make steady consistent progress. They are able work fairly independently with help on new concepts. We typically go through about 2--3 levels a year esp in younger years, also depending on how much we do in the summer. As math progresses you will need to get both the worktext and solution book. (Unless you really love math.) ;-)

How many lessons per book? How many books would you need for an entire school year?
User on Feb 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Normally 3 books per year is what they say. It think sometimes two. It's a different way of learning. We wanted to build confidence, so we started way back and let her go through four books in the first couple years. It was good for her.. At one point, I called the company. It was just the founder who I talked to. He was really helpful. I think I got his number off the book cover. You might call RR and ask them to help you find it if you can't find it.
