Does this program build on itself? Once the child learns a rule, does that rule come up in future lessons? Are spelling lists mastered and then forgotten or are they reviewed later?

Spelling Workout 2001 Level D Student Edition

BEST ANSWER: Every lesson has a new rule and list of words. There’s a review every six lessons.

Are the words only written in cursive after a certain level?

Spelling Workout 2001 Level D Student Edition

BEST ANSWER: The spelling words in Level A and B are all in print. In Level C the spelling words are written in print and cursive. The exercises can be completed either way. In all levels after that, the spelling lists are written in cursive, but it isn't required to write in cursive to complete the assignments. All instructions and work pages are in print and so is the glossary. If your child struggles to read cursive it is simple to work around it by writing the spelling words in print for him/her to study. My son is 12 and can read/write cursive, but prefers to print all his work. I hope this helps! 😊
