Bible Truths F Student Text (3rd ed.) opens with a God-centered account of the Creation, Fall, and Redemption of our world. It then applies this understanding to issues faced by contemporary teens. Moral decision-making, dating, choosing a college, developing relationships, studying the Bible, gender roles, politics, technology, depression, evangelismthe book is relative to where teens are right now.
Bible Integration is key to Christian teaching of the academic disciplines, and BJU Press textbooks have introductions which show how a Christian worldview applies to the given discipline. But in no other book does BJU Press spend so much time building up a Christian worldview directly from Scripture.
This text opens with an extensive worldview section, focusing on the Trinity and God's plan of Salvation. Other chapters cover topics such as: prayer, Bible study, and worship; discerning God's will; fighting temptation; becoming a leader; attending a Christian college; love, marriage, and gender roles, and more. 3rd Ed.
This course is divided into two sections corresponding to the GreatCommandment of Christ. The first, "Loving God Completely" studies doctrinesrelating to God, the Bible, and salvation. "Loving My Neighbor as Myself"delves into the topics of bitterness, Christian liberties, separation,evangelism, prejudice, and suffering.
Secondary level materials are serious Bible study, covering the entire Bible over the course of the series. Essential materials are the Teacher Editions and Student Worktexts.
A complete Bible curriculum at every level, with daily lesson plans, student materials, visuals, and (at some levels) accompanying music tape. All but the K4 level have a consumable student worktext. Required materials are listed first under each grade level. An asterisk (*) proceeding the item means it is optional. Complete Home School kits contain all essential materials to teach one child. Optional materials are useful to the course, but not vital. Teacher Picture Packets (grades K5-1) contain full-color 12" x 18" pictures correlated to lessons in the course.
