It also includes left to right practice, slant right, slant left, backward and forward circle practice, before moving on to a page of uppercase then lowercase practice of the alphabet. The kindergarten volume will also provide a short section that features sentence tracing, number tracing and writing practice. The book ends with a post test. Writing Readiness now focuses on the needs of early childhood and include foundational skill building exercises, and coloring/writing letters with a focus only on upper case letters. Basic Strokes and Letters targets PK skills and covers basic strokes through upper- and lower-case letters. Pretests have been added to Beginning Manuscript and Reinforcing Manuscript.
