Category Description for ____grade At Home (Princeton Review)

I have always liked The Princeton Review test prep books for older students, so I was excited to see these support books come available for the younger grades. These books are written for parents to help their children excel specifically with reading and math topics. The publisher has identified core skills that each grade level needs to know and included them in this series. Parents can start at the beginning or pick and choose the concepts they want to work through. New topics are introduced in short segments followed by some written exercises (and answers). Helpful hints are included with the answers so you get the most out of the lessons. Then comes the hands-on activities. These can be a game, a craft, a speaking/listening skill, or other short project. Each activity tells you the time allotted and the household supplies needed. The upper levels (Grades 5 and 6) include grammar and composition lessons along with reading and math. These guided lessons with engaging activities are a wonderful support to your child's core curriculum. ~ Gina
