Set includes a quality 17-piece dissection tool set (Item #082483), a reusable dissecting pan, and the book How to Dissect, (#045220) that clearly illustrates and explains how to dissect everything except for the Grantia (sponge) specimen. Preserved specimens include: a fetal pig (4-7"), a frog (3"+), a perch (5-7"), a crayfish (3-4"), an earthworm (6-8"), a clam (3-4"), a starfish (3-5"), a grasshopper, and a Grantia (sponge). All specimens are plain without colored latex injection and come packaged together in one bag. Once the original package is opened, it is recommended that specimens be stored in a heavy-duty, zip-lock bag and used within one month.
