Along with the well-illustrated instruction guide, the kit includes alum powder, mono (powder), Epsom salts, plaster, beaker, blue and yellow liquid color, stirring sticks, baking paper, plastic dishes, plastic vial with lid, round stick and holder, spoon, tweezers, and plaster mold. A few household items are also necessary: Kettle, disposable paper/plastic cups, scissors, paper towels and plastic film. If you chose to do the kitchen crystal activities, you will also need table salt, teaspoons, string, white sugar, food coloring, bamboo skewers and other household items.
