I picked this toy because my granddaughter likes legos and is interested in engineering, so I thought this toy gave her both. She can build the toy and then learn about programing. I hope it will be a toy she loves.

Fun To Assemble But Programming Is A Nightmare
My 12-year-old enjoyed assembling the robot. My husband, an IT professional, spent an hour with it to see how it worked on the programming side, once it was built. His opinion was that they have sample programs that are neat, but NO WHERE do they show you how to make it do those things with your own programming. For us, that defeated the purpose of why we purchased it. We wanted it to teach the kids how to program it to do those activities, not just use a written program and watch it passively do those things.
