My Fairy Garden Windmill Terrace
It's the first fairy garden with solar power! When exposed to sunlight, the windmill will turn using solar energy"like magic! Add water to the pond and press the pump to make the water wheel turn and circulate water! Plant all around the house to create a beautiful garden area, and then play with Saffron the fairy and Skippy the fox! Seeds and soil included. For ages 4 and up.
My Fairy Garden® is the first of its kind: a toy that's also a real, live garden! Children love kits that allow them to grow plants at home; it gives them a connection to nature and a sense of satisfaction at having nurtured a living thing. My Fairy Garden takes it to a new, exciting level by allowing children to interact with it as part of an enchanting play set! Children plant the quick-germinating seeds, and care for their garden, all while setting up and playing with adorable fairies, woodland friends and accessories! It's a great collectible line for children ages 4 and up!
More interactive and fulfilling than a standard playset, these miniature, live gardens are perfect for teaching kids about nature and responsibility while giving them a ??real' toy to play with! Each kit comes with a different set of plant seeds (which quickly germinate and are easy to care for) and plenty of soil to grow them in. The plants require only regular watering to grow after planting. While kids are waiting for plants to grow around their miniature garden, the included themed fairy play sets are perfect for playing with and filling out the scene. Once the plants grow sufficiently, the scene will represent a beautiful garden, complete with mystical fairies, woodland critters, and accessories! All kits include an activity guide to help kids along and make sure their gardens grow as well as possible.
Note: each activity guide does reference "mystical fairies" as being real, but invisible for most people. This is done for the effect of curiosity and intrigue regarding the fairy gardens, not to encourage mysticism.
Purchase was made due to its STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) components—solar, wind, water pump, and gardening... Design is appealing as well.
Our girls were anxious to get their hands on this “toy.” Easy set up with instructional setup booklet. (We don’t normally approve of fairy themes but this could be considered an angel.) The girls enjoyed positioning fairy/angel on her wire which attaches to a couple of places giving a fluttering effect and watering the garden with the watering pail. The swans were a fun addition as well.
It would be good to have additional booklet with descriptions of the history of technologies included in each set.
