This upper level self-study course collates all 29 chapters of the Conceptual Integrated Science textbook into 5 units and a total of 29 lessons (one lesson per chapter). This is ample material for two semesters of study. This course, adapted from a college level curriculum, provides a strong and enjoyable introduction to integrated science for the mature high school student. Recommended for grade levels 10 and higher. As with all our courses, performance on our automated quizzes is tracked through a student grade book. So, what is Conceptual Academy? Centered on video instruction created by the text authors, Conceptual Academy's self-study courses are content rich and flexible for independent learners. There are worksheets, chapter summaries, automated quizzes and homework, a grade book, supplemental podcasts with chapter discussions, educational advice and interviews, chapter summaries, and more. Hands-on activities within the textbook can serve as the labs and use common household items. Also available are interactive simulations from University of Colorado and eScience Lab kits (additional cost). Purchase of the online course is for one year, one student.
