For art this year we're learning about illuminated manuscripts, so we thought this would help us practice this art form.

I have a very artistic son, I will let him work in this book once a week while the other children do "handwriting".

Per the item description pictures, the instruction seems clear and understandable. This book seems to be a nice introduction for beginners on how to draw illuminated letters that will make a nice extra in our journals and written narration entries.

I like the different ways you can "fancy-up" the letters. It will make the gifts I make that much more special to those I give them too.
