Description
If you've considered purchasing the larger Word Teaser sets, this set is a great option to try first. This is a mini deck with 50 cards (rather than 150 in the larger). Each card contains a question regarding a U.S. state along with a hint on one side, and then information on the back. For example, "What U.S. state is only about 55 miles from the Russian border?" The hint is: "This state could easily hold Texas, California, and Montana in its borders." Although there is just one question, the real wealth of information is on the second side. Each card becomes a "fast facts" card about a state, with the name, abbreviation, capital, population, land area, date it entered the union, nickname, and motto. With all these facts, this set is great for create-your-own games or supplementing a unit study on the United States. Cards are 2 ½" x 3 ½" and come in a storage box. For 2 or more players. ~ Ruth
