Description
Publisher's Description of Little House on the Prairie Lapbook Printed

A long time ago, before all the grandfathers and grandmothers of today had even been born, a little girl left her home in the Big Woods of Wisconsin to begin her American pioneering journey. Laura set out with her Ma and Pa and two sisters to travel across the prairie and make their home in the Indian Country. Although Laura was almost too young to remember the events, she later researched and put together her memories with the stories that she had been told, in order to record her adventure for the children of today. Teach your children about America's wonderful pioneering past with Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder and our accompanying lapbook and study guide! Book not included.

Category Description for Little House Lapbooks (Knowledge Box)

Creating a lapbook is a fun, hands-on activity for craftystudents. Knowledge Box Central kits include a chapterby chapter study guide and clear instructions for creatingyour lapbook. You can work on it as you go through thebook, or make it as a windup activity after reading the whole story. If you get the CDROM version, you will print all ofthis yourself and can make as many copies as needed. The printed version already has the minibooks and other components printed for you on various colors of paper. You then cut out the parts and create the lapbook (without all thetime and money of printing it on colored paper yourself. This is my favorite option for lapbooks.)

The assembled lapbooks become a go-along withyour reading, rather than an activity to complete, though you can add to it yourself and make itmore personalized.
