Part of Strathmore's 400 series, this heavyweight 100 lb. (163 gsm) paper will take a punch and hold up under hard work, repeated erasing and reworks. The paper surface has nice texture for pencils, colored pencil, charcoal or sketching sticks. Each sheet is micro perforated for easy removal and is actual size (once removed). Cream Colored Heavyweight Medium Surface. Wire Bound Pads. The medium surface of this extra heavy weight sheet has slightly more texture. The artist typically will select the heavier textured sheet when working with pencil, colored pencil, charcoal or sketching sticks to achieve a greater depth of tone, uniform areas of half tones and less mechanical renderings when using a cross hatching technique.

The 400 Series Colored Pencil paper by Strathmore has a nice white toothy surface that's durable enough to stand up to multiple layers of application, erasing, and reworking. Each sheet is micro perforated for easy removal and is actual size once removed. The wire bound pad is acid free and has a heavy-duty chipboard backing for extra structure. 30 sheets per pad.
