What's the most basic thing you need to study the geography of a region? A map? I would agree. Well, now, why not take that map and turn it into a board game? What a fantastic idea! The game boards are big, colorful satellite maps measuring 1.5 x 3 feet, so players will definitely become familiar with the geographical region of each game. Game play is simple - be the first to go from your home city to all of the destination city cards you are dealt at the beginning of the game, and return to your home city. First player home wins. Here's the catch: at any point your die roll may bring you more destination cards, questions to answer, random moves across the board, exchanges with other players, or an additional turn. All answers are either on the board or destination cards, so this is a very non-threatening board game for geographically challenged players. At the same time, some of the questions can be a real challenge! The American and Biblical versions are for ages 8-adult, Ancient is for 10-adult. Typical playing time is 45-75 minutes.
